Thrasher's 1967 Sport Fury 3
Not every one knows about the 1967 Fury, So let me
                   tell you what your missing.                               
      
Mine has a 383 Super Commando 4 barrel under the
hood with a mild  Edelbrock cam.
She puts out 400 horse power, with a positive track
rear end.
Dual 2-1/2"exhaust with the pipes that dump out in
front of the rear tires.

I'm running 15"50's on the back and 15" 205 on the
front.

The kids and I go to the Drag strip and Race,but I
still need more power
I found this car (minus transmission and engine) in a Texas field .
When I finally got hold of the owner I asked him if he wanted to sell it. He said, "make
me an offer". I offered $150.00.  He said, "SOLD"!  I pulled the car home and
was cleaning it up when he came by and handed me the keys/title, and to my
surprise... He asked when was I going to come and get the engine and
transmission? The engine was on the other part of town also in a field. The
carburetor was missing but there was silver tape over the holes, unfortunately,
someone poked holes in the tape! When I got the engine home, I worked for
several days to get the engine freed up. I went ahead and dropped it in and
hoped for the best!? To my amazement...she started up and purred like a
kitten! Over the years I have changed out the rear end and put in a mild cam. I
have tried to keep the car as original as possible..but with all the new
modifications, I just cant help wanting to make it BAD-@$$
